After the beginning of winter, the International Department held the fourth activity of language mutual assistance and cultural exchange on the occasion of the beginning of winter. In this activity, Chinese and foreign students exchanged interesting stories about local customs, enjoyed the wonderful culture of other countries in the game, and gained more skills about speaking fluently in the exchange.
Look at the highlights of the event：What was everybody doing with a string?The purpose was to find their own partners through the blind box part. Chinese and foreign students stood at both ends, holding hands in each line. Such a dividing way rose everyone’s expectations to their teammates.
After the completion of the group was students’ communication part. Chinese and foreign students were facing each other and shared the feeling of hometown.In the process of communication there were often laughter. When we learned about the holiday habits we had never heard of, we all showed great interest in it. We also wrote and drew pictures on the paper and devoted ourselves to it.
The game of passing a microphone made everybody more intoxicated. Dancing with music, but pay attention to questions. When the custom name was passed from the first to the last, the name changed a lot. Everybody tried hard to pronounce Chinese, English and Russian, but always had very different answers, which made everyone can't help but laugh.
In the cheerful atmosphere of the game, the result of the game was finally produced. It seemed that people were less interested in winning and losing, but more immersed in the process of learning.
After drinking a cup of salt water, everybody went on the stage to talk about their feelings. They used Chinese or English to communicate what they had learned in the afternoon. Although the language was not fluent, the scene that everyone tried to show themselves was really wonderful. Finally, a group photo was taken and another memorable event was written into the history of the international department.
Every time after the activity,we have full harvest and the endless joy .In this activity we can experience the surprise and unusual friendship every time. We improve the level of the language, understand the local customs and may even make lifelong friends here. This activity is designed to enhance Chinese and the foreign language skills and deepen the friendship between students from different countries. This activity is really nice!
